Conference Program

In an effort to be environmentally conscious, AASP is now offering attendees an option to choose whether or not they would like a printed copy of conference abstracts. All abstracts and program information will be available on the AASP mobile website.

“Meet the Professionals” Luncheon — Friday, October 16

Geared for student attendees to interact and network with more established sport psychology consultants. Limited to the first 54 students to register.

5K Fun Run/Walk — Friday, October 16

Join fellow conference attendees for a 5K fun run/walk on Friday morning. The course will take you along the Indianapolis Central Canal and through White River State Park. The start/finish line is just outside the JW Marriott. Registration includes a race shirt, and a portion of the registration fee will be donated to Indy Pride.

Closing Reception — Saturday, October 17

AASP’s 2015 reception will be held at the NCAA Hall of Champions. Your registration fee includes access for one (1) person. Additional guest passes can be purchased for $35 each.

AASP Student Challenge

The AASP Student Challenge is a quiz show for students who attend the conference. Questions for this quiz show will be pulled from various lectures and invited speakers (e.g., Coleman Griffith Lecture, Keynotes). The event will take place on Saturday afternoon for a chance to win prizes. There is no registration fee for this year's event; we simply ask that you pre-register when you register for the annual conference. If you have any questions, please email

Volunteer Opportunities

Session Presiders Wanted!

Presiders manage lectures by introducing speakers and keeping sessions running on time.

Student Volunteers

Selected student volunteers will be held responsible for attending a short training session at the start of the conference, assisting presenters during 3-4 assigned sessions, and completing brief paperwork for AASP's management company prior to receiving $99 for their time. Student volunteers will also be members of the inaugural AASP Twitter Team and will be required to use a Twitter account during the conference (either their personal account or one created specifically for the conference). Spaces may also be available for pre-conference Continuing Education (CE) workshops. Contact the chair, Chrissy Pacewicz (, with any questions.
