She strongly believes that AASP can increase student and professional membership benefits by building profitability of the organization through fundraising efforts and fostering national and regional corporate sponsorships. Her strengths include an energetic personality, responsiveness to daily requests over phone and email, and an innovative style that leads to creative ideas and a knack for fundraising. She has singly secured over $50,000 in corporate sponsorships, donations and fundraisers to provide graduate assistantships at the University of Utah. She has secured $346,485 in grant funding from internal and external funding sources to support sport and exercise psychology research. On the finance committee, she co-wrote a proposal for a multi-year membership option that will offer a discount to loyal members.
  3. FUNDRAISING/SPONSORSHIPS: She strongly believes that AASP can increase student and professional membership benefits by building profitability of the organization through fundraising efforts and fostering national and regional corporate sponsorships. Her strengths include an energetic personality, responsiveness to daily requests over phone and email, and an innovative style that leads to creative ideas and a knack for fundraising. Justine will push to keep registration fees low while members experience value and have a quality conference experience. The organization with Justine’s leadership will move to budget neutral for upcoming conferences and revenue producing within 3 years. To this end Justine has extensive conference planning and budgeting experience and would like to lend support in providing conference excellence to members.

PROMOTE DIVERSITY: As the Professional Standards Division Head she is eager to facilitate the success of the diversity, certification, continuing education and ethics committees and to serve as an active and productive board member. Members have diverse needs depending on their geographical location and position. Justine will initiate the formation of a Global AASP Certification Committee to extend certification benefits to countries beyond North America.
